Jyoti Completes 100 International Caps, Reaches Landmark Milestone for Indian Women’s Hockey Team
Indian Women’s Hockey Team midfielder Jyoti completed 100 international caps during India’s FIH Women’s Hockey Nations Cup match against Japan in New Zealand. The landmark achievement highlights her contributions since her 2019 debut, including medal-winning campaigns and consistent performances for the national team.
Hailing from Haryana, Jyoti made her international debut in 2019 against Malaysia during a bilateral Test Series. Since then, she has established herself as a vital presence in the midfield, earning recognition for her relentless work ethic, composure under pressure, and consistent performances on the international stage.
Throughout her career, Jyoti has represented India in several prestigious tournaments. She was a member of the Indian squad that secured the bronze medal at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games and also played a key role in the team’s gold medal-winning campaigns at the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy in Ranchi and Rajgir. In addition, she has represented India in the FIH Hockey Pro League, the Asia Cup, and several other major international competitions, contributing significantly to the team’s success.
